What Editions are available?

On top of the three new Editions: the Freedom, Altitude, and Golden Eagle, there are also some of the older Editions still available including the Rubicon Recon and the Willys Wheeler. Standard features for each of these Editions are as follows. The Rubicon Recon has winch-capable steel front bumper and steel rear bumpers, a military inspired Dana 44 front axle, heated leather-trimmed front seats, red seat belts, mud-terrain tires, and cast differential covers. The Altitude comes with heated leather-trimmed seats, a power bulge hood, 18-inch wheels, and both gloss black exterior accents and liquid titanium interior accents. The Golden Eagle is then offered with premium heavy-duty rock rails, a steel rear bumper, a winch-capable steel front bumper, a premium tan Sunrider soft top, 17-inch aluminum wheels, and tread plates. The Freedom Edition had decals and badging specified to itself, 17-inch low gloss granite crystal wheels, off-road rock rails, and black leather-trimmed seating. Finally, the Willys Wheeler comes with a Jeep trail rated kit, an available tru-lok rear locker, a gloss black grille, 17-inch wheels, and mud-terrain tires.

What is the Wrangler JK engine capable of?

Under the hood of the Wrangler JK is a 3.6-liter V6 engine with variable valve timing. This excellent engine can be perfectly matched to either a six-speed manual or a five-speed automatic transmission. With either of these transmissions you will get smooth riding transitions whether you are on pavement or off. Another option on the drivetrain would be the choice of either a 4:1 rock-trac part-time four-wheel drive or a command-trac shift-on-the-fly part-time four-wheel drive. Both are an excellent choice. The maximum payload is 880 pounds, while the maximum towing load is 2,000 pounds.

How many safety features are there?

Standard features for safety and security on the Jeep Wrangler JK in 2018 can include electronic roll mitigation, advanced multistage front airbags, traction control, a sentry theft deterrent system, front passenger seat belt alert, speed control, hill start assist, and electronic stability control. Additional features can be added. Some of these extra features would be remote keyless entry, supplemental front seat mounted side airbags, a security alarm, a remote start system, and an electronic vehicle tracking system.
